Roughly based on the events of the second Art the Lad PlayStation game, this series takes places after the events of the War of the Holy Coffin and features Hunter Erik ( or Elk), the last surviving member of a tribe of fire-wielding sorcerers called the Pyrenians. he becomes a mercenary, teaming up with moster-tamer Lena, orphans Shunter and Sanya, exiled prince Grueger, and android Diebeck. Needless to say, the many quests for revenge on behalf of wronged parents (which accounts for at least four party-members' motivations).
